Ethiopia without words
These pages depict the familiar and ordinary Ethiopia—people, customs, places, settings and moments—with which I have become acquainted since moving to Addis Ababa over seven years ago. Some images also show aspects of life that our cultures have always shared. To me it is these particular aspects that make life together worthwhile. All 71 photographs have been taken with an iPhone. This small book—without words—is a personal homage to Ethiopia and her people who, with their enduring and kind spirit, have made this country home away from home for me. It has been printed and hand-bound in Zurich as a gift for personal supporters of my work. A few copies are available for sale. Price upon request.
